Welcome to LAPHDIR
The Laboratory for Aging, Population Health, Disparities, and Intervention Research (LAPHDIR) is a group of students, faculty members, postdocs, and residents that meets weekly to discuss specific research and intervention projects, their challenges and rewards, research and program evaluation results, and future plans. The content areas covered by LAPHDiR is at the intersection of health and human development: health prevention and intervention research projects, life-span developmental themes from early childhood to late life, and health disparities research.
LAPHDIR provides opportunities to present emerging research ideas, practice presenting talks and posters, discuss data interpretation, as well as how to apply findings to other studies and how to develop collaborations with community agencies and colleagues from across disciplines.
